This peach liqueur from Giffard (founded 1885 in the Loire Valley) is made using late‑ripening “vine” peaches that once flagged pests in vineyards; they’re macerated in beet‑neutral alcohol, then sweetened and bottled at about 16 % ABV.
On the nose and palate you’ll find fresh peach flesh and skin, light almond pit/stone hints, floral touches of honeysuckle or orange blossom, and a subtle citrus acidity that keeps the sweetness balanced.
