Willett Straight Rye is produced by the illustrious Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky—family-owned since 1936 and revived as a distillery in 2012 after decades acting as a large independent bottler. Blended from high‑ and low‑rye mash bills and aged four years, this cask‑strength rye (around 110 proof) exemplifies modern American rye with a balanced interplay of spice and sweetness.

On the nose there’s fragrant vanilla wafer, kettle‑corn sweetness, and bright red‑fruit notes like fresh and brandied cherry mingled with orchard apple and baking spices.
