Shipping policy

Ownership of all wine transfers to the buyer at the time of purchase in the state of New York. If you choose to have your wine shipped, you authorize Officina del Bere 1397 to coordinate delivery through a licensed third-party carrier acting on your behalf. If you request shipment to a state that does not permit direct-to-consumer alcohol shipments, you accept full responsibility for complying with your state’s laws regarding such deliveries.

You must be at least 21 years old to purchase or receive alcoholic beverages from Officina del Bere 1397. All alcohol shipments require an adult signature upon delivery, and the carrier is legally obligated to verify age and obtain identification. This means someone 21 or older must be present at the time of delivery.

Please note that many states place restrictions on the quantity of alcohol that can be purchased or brought into the state without certain licenses or permits. Officina del Bere 1397 does not assume responsibility for securing any such licenses or permits, nor are they a condition of sale. We encourage you to consult your state’s laws in advance to determine what is required. You are solely responsible for any excise, use, or sales taxes due to your state in connection with your purchase.

Officina del Bere 1397 makes no representations regarding the legality of shipping wine into states outside New York. Once your order leaves our premises, responsibility for the shipment—including compliance with state laws, as well as risk of loss or damage—rests entirely with you. By placing an order, you authorize Officina del Bere 1397 to act as your agent in arranging delivery through a common carrier.
