Kings County Distillery Straight Bourbon is the flagship whiskey from New York City’s first post-Prohibition distillery (founded 2009 in Brooklyn) that blends Scotch-like craftsmanship with American tradition using an 80% New York organic corn and 20% English Golden Promise barley mash, double pot-distilled, and aged 3–6 years in new charred oak before bottling at 90 proof (45% ABV) .
The nose reveals inviting scents of caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, and holiday spices, underpinned by softer malted notes and faint dark fruit accents. On the palate, expect a medium-bodied, malty profile with flavors of banana bread, caramel fudge, toasted oak, and cracked black pepper, balanced by nutty richness and a touch of spice.
