Benanti, a pioneering estate on Mount Etna's slopes, has been instrumental in elevating the region's wines since the 1980s, though the family has been involved in winemaking on the island of Sicily since the 1800s. In 2012, brothers Antonio and Salvino Benanti took over from their father, Giuseppe. All farming in organic.

Carricante. Aromas of green apple, lemon peel, and chamomile. On the palate, it offers clean minerality, delicious apple and herbs, with vibrant acidity and a saline finish.
