Vieux Château Champs de Mars is a highly regarded, organic/biodynamic winery in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, founded in the 1980s by Therèse and Sébastien Moro. Known for the "Cuvee Johanna," it produces, often unfiltered, Merlot-dominant red wines with vibrant red fruit, earth, and savory notes. Primarily 80% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Franc.

Notes of dried plum, blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco, leather, and forest floor. Absolutely delicious pairing with duck.
