Ruinart Blanc de Blancs NV is the flagship, non-vintage Chardonnay-only cuvée of Maison Ruinart, the oldest Champagne house founded in Reims in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart, inspired by his uncle, the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from roughly 25–30 Premier Cru vineyards across the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, Sézannais, and Vesle valleys—blended with about 20–30% reserve wines and aged 2–3 years in chalk cellars—it delivers both freshness and complexity.
It pours a pale golden-yellow sparkle with fine, persistent mousse; the nose reveals citrus fruits, ripe pear or peach, white flowers, and spicy accents like ginger and pink peppercorn. On the palate it shows a graceful, supple structure with roundness tempered by lively acidity—flavors of nectarine, lemon curd, toasted brioche, almond blossoms, and saline minerality linger into a refined, long finish.
