Paolo Scavino, a family-run estate established in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto, Piedmont, is renowned for its meticulous approach to Nebbiolo. Now managed by Enrico Scavino and his daughters, Enrica and Elisa, the winery emphasizes sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention to highlight the purity of their terroir.
The nose is delicate and complex, with aromas of cherry, strawberry, and rose, complemented by hints of licorice and dried herbs. On the palate, there are soft tannins supporting wild fruits, mint, and earth. A generous finish.
