Sergio & Battista Borgogno ‘Truffle Hunters’ Nebbiolo d’Alba 2023 comes from the historic Borgogno house in Piedmont, made from 100 % Nebbiolo grown on clay‑ and marl‑inflected sites around Castellinaldo and Diano d’Alba. This approachable red sees traditional fermentation and aging in large Slavonian oak, emphasizing purity of fruit and bright acidity.

On the nose it offers red cherry, raspberry and a hint of dried herbs, while the palate delivers juicy cranberry and plum framed by gentle tannins. The finish is savory and lifted, with a touch of earthiness that makes it a great match for mushroom pastas, ragù or grilled pork.
