Mamete Prevostini, a third-generation winemaker, leads his family's estate in Lombardy's Valtellina region, focusing on Nebbiolo wines that express the area's alpine terroir. The 'Marena' cuvée sources grapes from terraced vineyards in the Sassella subzone, situated between 350 and 550 meters above sea level.
Nebbiolo. Full of crunchy minerals and red fruits. Cherry and raspberry on the tongue and aromas of red flowers and heady fresh earth join in great harmony. Its woven tannic form is lifted by Nebbiolo's trademark zap of acidity.
