Fortaleza Tequila Reposado

Fortaleza’s Reposado continues the legacy of Don Cenobio Sauza—who pioneered steam-cooking agave in the 1870s—with the brand officially launched in 2005, preserving small-batch, stone-ground, brick-oven production using copper pot stills at their historic La Perseverancia distillery. This reposado is aged six to eighteen months in American oak, achieving a delicate balance between vibrant agave character and nuanced wood influence. 

Aromas and flavors showcase cooked agave, citrus zest, vanilla, apple, caramel, butter, and sage, layered with notes of toasted oak, clotted cream, cinnamon, and a touch of earthiness. It finishes long, rich, and slightly spicy with an oily, mouth-coating texture—an elegant and complex tequila perfect for sipping neat or elevating crafted cocktails.
