Fort Hamilton Single Barrel Rye Whiskey
Fort Hamilton Single Barrel Rye is a small-batch rye whiskey from Fort Hamilton Distillery in Brooklyn, founded in 2016 by Alex Clark, inspired by America’s early Rye traditions and the Revolutionary-era “Hearts of Oak” militia. Distilled in upstate New York from a high-rye mash bill (90% rye, 10% malted barley) and aged at least three years in #3-char 30‑gallon barrels, it’s bottled at 90 proof unfiltered and kosher-certified.
On the nose, bright caramel, juniper berry, spearmint, and lemon zest intertwine with vanilla and baking spice, while the palate offers creamy vanilla, toasted brown sugar, cinnamon, and cool rye spice wrapped in medium viscosity.
