Fort Hamilton Single Barrel Bourbon is crafted by Brooklyn’s Fort Hamilton Distillery—established in 2016 by Alex Clark and Amy Grindeland—using New York-grown grains (85 % corn, 10 % rye, 5 % malted barley) and distilled at Taconic Distillery before aging in Brooklyn for at least 4–4½ years in char‑3 oak barrels. Each barrel is hand-selected by founder Alex Clark to showcase a corn-forward profile that complements their rye-heavy lineup.
On the nose, toasted pecan, sage, and lemon peel lead into a palate of brioche crust, brown-sugar, with slight saline bitterness. The finish is long and savory.
