A beloved and benchmark Chianti Classico, from Panzano's famed 'Conca d'Oro' region. Organically grown Sangiovese under the stewardship of Giovanni Manetti, this wonderful estate continues to produce wines of purity, balance and unmistakable sense of place. Matured for 18 months in a combination of botti and French barrels which gives remarkable concentration making this a cellar-worthy Chianti built to age beautifully.
Vibrant cherry, blackberry, and earthy notes. The vintage is characterized by lively acidity and structured tannins, offering excellent aging potential. Hints of spice, tobacco, and leather to the fruit-forward palate. Shows tight, dark, tannic black fruits with amazing structure and acidity.
