Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé 2024
Domaine Tempier, established in 1834 and located in Bandol along the Mediterranean coast, rose to prominence in the 20th century under Lucie “Lulu” Tempier and her husband Lucien Peyraud. Lucien played a key role in reviving Mourvèdre and shaping the Bandol AOC in 1941, helping to define the region’s reputation for serious, age-worthy wines. Still family-run and organically farmed, Tempier remains one of the most respected estates in Provence.
A vibrant nose of white peach, grapefruit zest, wild strawberry, and delicate herbal notes. On the palate, it’s textured yet precise—layering stone fruit, citrus, and a hint of saline minerality with a fine thread of spice and firm structure from Mourvèdre.
