This wine hails from an estate in the northern sector of the Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape appellation, where vines average 80 years and soils range from sand to red clay and galets roulés in the lieu‑dit Paléstor. The blend typically features ~70 % Grenache, ~16 % Mourvèdre, ~8 % Syrah, ~4 % Cinsault and ~2 % Clairette. 

On the nose expect sweet dark‑red and black fruit, licorice, garrigue herbs and floral nuance; the palate combines that fruit with peppery spice, fresh acidity and a long, polished finish that retains energy and finesse.
