This 100 % Gamay from the hillside cru of Régnié (Les Vergers plot) at Domaine de Vernus is planted on deep, weathered granite soils and crafted with minimal intervention: hand‑picked, whole‑cluster foot‑treading, native‑yeast fermentation, and around ten months’ aging (just ~4 % new oak).
The wine opens with a luminous floral bouquet—think peony and wild berry—then the palate offers juicy red‑cherry and raspberry, smooth yet present minerality and a fresh, gently persistent finish of vibrant acidity.
