Produced in the Fleurie cru of Beaujolais by Domaine de Vernus from Gamay vines averaging 51 years old, the wine comes from deep, weathered granite soils in plots such as Grand Pré, Vers le Mont and La Levrattière (altitude ~250 m).
On the nose it offers complex aromas of bergamot, caramel and dark berry fruit; the palate is vibrant and fruity, with bright cherry and raspberry flavours, subtle minerality and a fresh finish.
