Domaine Belluard Mondeuse 2012
Domaine Belluard was a renowned French winery in Ayse, Savoie, celebrated for championing Gringet, an incredibly rare, indigenous alpine grape variety. Under the passionate stewardship of the late Dominique Belluard, the estate pioneered biodynamic viticulture and elegant concrete-egg fermentation in the region.
Brisk and herbal upon opening, with cranberry and cherry and dried roses. On the palate, there is crisp red plum, light olive tapenade, and a peppery spice. Structurally, the wine grows with air, creating a more Syrah-like experience.
