Chambord is a luxurious raspberry liqueur that debuted in 1982 under Norton “Sky” Cooper, inspired by a 17th-century royal recipe from France’s Loire Valley and now owned by Brown‑Forman. Made with whole red and black raspberries, blackcurrants, Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, honey, exotic herbs—and finished with XO Cognac—it’s bottled at a gentle 16.5% ABV.
On the nose and palate, expect rich, velvety raspberry and blackberry jam accented by creamy vanilla, subtle citrus brightness, cinnamon‑clove warmth, and smooth honey sweetness.
