From a highly acclaimed, traditionally crafted estate on the southwestern sector of Montalcino. Established in 1965, currently run by Giacomo Bartolommei. Stylistically, the wines are in the traditional camp of Montalcino, approachable without being rustic.
Classic Tuscan aromas and flavors of dusty dried cherries, with a kiss of leather and spice and an underpinning of minerality. Berries, violets and lavender. The body is full and rich with great balance. Well-integrated silky tannins, and a refreshing acidity that livens up the palate.
