Blard et Fils Vin de Savoie Mondeuse Noir Arbin 2020
Blard et Fils works with native grapes in the Savoie, farming sustainably in the foothills of the Alps, just under the Chartreuse Massif. For five generations, the Blard family has been cultivating vines —and now the young Thomas is guiding the estate. This Mondeuse from Arbin shows the variety’s spicy, savory side with Alpine clarity.
Aromas of black cherry and dark olive on the nose, with dried red flowers and a fresh grassiness. The palate shows pepper and cassis, with soft tannins and bright acidity on the tongue.
