Âmevive Mourvèdre Estate Ibarra-Young Vineyard Los Olivos 2023
Partners Alice Anderson and Topher de Felice started Âmiveve in 2019 with a focus on Rhône grapes, both red and white. Before this, Anderson worked with producers in New Zealand and France’s Rhône Valley. This young couple uses sustainable farming methods, including organics and biodynamics, to create classically delicious wines that are also clear representations of the natural world from which they are crafted.
A grassy nose with notes of hibiscus, vibrant red citrus, crisp cherry and the lightest hints of black pepper. On the palate, crunchy mineral tones direct flavors of wild raspberries, blackberries, and cool salinity. An astonishingly vibrant Mourvèdre that has a place on the table regardless of season.
