Agricola Brandini Cerretta Barolo 2020
From the northwestern edge of the Barolo appellation in Serralunga d’Alba, the Cerretta vineyard is managed by Azienda Agricola Brandini, a youthful, organically certified estate led by sisters Serena and Giovanna Bagnasco and their father Piero. The 2020 vintage is made from 100 % Nebbiolo, vinified with part whole‑cluster and part destemmed fruit, fermented for around three weeks, then matured in large Slavonian oak botti for about 24 months before bottling.
On the nose it displays intense spice, rosemary, ground pepper and balsamic hints, while the palate is structured yet elegant—rich and precise with vibrant tannins and a well‑integrated wood influence that gives both immediate charm and aging potential.
