Agricola Brandini Annunziata Barolo 2020
This single‑vineyard Barolo from the Annunziata cru in La Morra is produced by Agricola Brandini—a modern, organic estate run by sisters Serena and Giovanna Bagnasco and their father Piero Bagnasco. Crafted from 100% Nebbiolo, the grapes are gently destemmed, fermented with three weeks of skin contact in stainless steel, followed by about 24 months of ageing in large Slavonian oak casks—then a further rest in steel before release.
On the palate the wine combines elegant aromas of red fruits and sweet tobacco with a soft, supple tannic texture and fresh finish—an expression of La Morra’s finesse‑led style rather than brute power.
