Peyrassol, a historic Provençal estate dating back to the Knights Templar, crafts this flagship cuvée from organically farmed vineyards in the hills of Provence. The 2024 'Cuvée des Commandeurs' blends Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah for a pale, refined rosé.

Notes of wild strawberry, citrus peel, and white flowers lead into a crisp, mineral finish. It’s a classic Provençal expression.

The estate is owned by Marco Bitossi, a member of the well-known family of ceramicists. The vines, located in the Tuscan hills of Montalbano, are tended with organic methods and the family focuses on the important grapes of the region. Canaiolo, traditionally a red blending grape in Tuscany, and a dash of Trebbiano, the region’s prominent white grape, are joined with Sangiovese to create this wine of pristine flavor and dramatically fresh texture. When served with a chill, the red fruit becomes more alive and acute. The mineral tones also gain precision.

A light ruby-red wine with lifted aromatics of strawberry, cherry, and subtle floral tones. Agile on the palate, with delicate tannins and juicy red fruit accented by hints of blood orange and herbs.
